DizzyCare Academy is one of the few Vestibular Rehabilitation CPD and workshop providers in the UK, developed, designed, and delivered by experienced vestibular physiotherapists.
The Academy specialises in training physiotherapists and allied health professionals to confidently assess, diagnose, and treat patients with dizziness and balance disorders.
Established in 2012 as part of the DizzyCare Clinic, the Academy has trained over 1,700 frontline clinicians through in-person and online vestibular rehabilitation courses.
These include 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day workshops, as well as on-demand e-learning modules accessible to learners 24/7 throughout the year.
At DizzyCare Academy, no patient should suffer unnecessarily from dizziness due to a lack of trained clinicians.
By equipping healthcare professionals with vestibular screening and management skills, the Academy strives to ensure timely, effective, and evidence-based care for all individuals affected by balance and dizziness disorders, across the UK and beyond.
The mission of DizzyCare Academy is to raise awareness of vestibular disorders among healthcare professionals and to empower clinicians with the knowledge and practical skills needed to improve patient outcomes.
The Academy aims to close the gap between the high prevalence of dizziness and the limited number of trained vestibular clinicians by:
• Equipping all categories of frontline clinicians with simple vestibular screening and basic assessment and treatment skills providing tools and manuals to perform structured vestibular screening and integrate findings into clinical reasoning.
• Offering introductory to advanced-level vestibular courses to build clinical competence step by step, from screening to full diagnostic and therapeutic skills.

DizzyCare Academy delivers education through several pathways:
• In-person courses held at least twice yearly in Wolverhampton and London.
• In-house training for NHS trusts and healthcare organisations hosting internal professional development events.
• Online and on-demand programmes enabling flexible global access for clinicians seeking vestibular therapy training anywhere, anytime.
DizzyCare Academy programmes are designed to help clinicians:
• Understand the prevalence and impact of vestibular disorders across healthcare settings.
• Conduct basic vestibular screening within standard practice (e.g. elderly care, stroke, neurology, MSK, etc.).
• Perform subjective and objective assessments to identify common vestibular conditions such as:
• BPPV
• Vestibular hypofunction
• Vestibular migraine
• Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD)
• Progress from basic to advanced vestibular assessment and treatment
through a layered educational framework.
